Lake Żywieckie is a vast and picturesque lake that spreads on the border of the Żywiecka Valley and the Beskid Mały Mountains. The shores of the lake are well-developed, there are scenic mountain hiking and cycling routes and beaches. The biggest attraction of the lake is the possibility of practicing all kinds of water sports. Numerous sailing and swimming schools as well as water equipment and bicycle rentals have been established here. Cruise ships also run here, e.g. in the centers near the dam in Tresna. Żywieckie Lake is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, anglers, mountain people and even mushroom pickers.
